works as advertised, DO NOT USE ENCLOSED INVERTER the inverter burned out after a week, after it was fried I opened it up, I’m now glad it was only on when I was home. very cheap and possible fire hazard, the panels are great for older technology and keep my small battery system charged.
Wanted to give this system a trial before moving to a bigger customized installation. Apart from the mounting frame being a little frustrating to put together (but not unreasonable for the price) I found this easy to assemble; the system worked right out of the box – no problems whatsoever. 23.5 +/- 0.1 volts open circuit on each of the 4 panels. The controller is rather limited, but this a “small” system – charges batteries perfectly well, as advertised; the angular efficiency of the panels is surprisingly good. A good choice for someone wanting to get familiar with these components, and will be excellent for an RV rooftop power supply.
