I purchased one of these items on May 10, 2008. Since I had a blackout on 6/27, I figured I could finally write a review.
First, this is my first APC, as well as my first battery backup, product. I’ve owned a number of surge protectors in the past, but since I had purchased a new computer, I wanted to try a backup device.
After a deal of research, I finally went with this one, after the value for the money, and the positive reviews APC had received.

Peltor H10A Professional Noise Canceling Earmuff
I like these earmuffs a lot. Well built. They work very well when placed on the ear per the directions. Only minor flaw might be that they are a little tight on the ears while wearing them.

Belkin Neoprene Armband for Zune
Ultra-Comfortable and Convenient
Designed to complement the latest fashion in gym gear, the Belkin Armband for Zune is as sharp looking as the player itself. But it’s not just about looking good: If you’re a night runner, you’ll appreciate the reflective material that will help to keep you visible. And the band’s snug and ultra-comfortable fit means that your player won’t jostle around and serve as a distraction while you exercise. In fact, except for the music streaming into your ears as you workout, you’ll barely know the Zune is on your arm.

works as advertised, DO NOT USE ENCLOSED INVERTER the inverter burned out after a week, after it was fried I opened it up, I’m now glad it was only on when I was home. very cheap and possible fire hazard, the panels are great for older technology and keep my small battery system charged.

T-fal irons have great sole plates that glide over the clothes you are ironing. I have owned many brands and after I bought one of these, about 10 years ago, I never wanted another brand.
They last about 3 years and then its time to get another. I have owned 3 in the last 10 years and they all gave me the same fine performance.
Just keep the bottom sole plate clean and do not leave water in the iron’s tank when you have finished ironing. The iron works with regular city tap water. If you have hard water it is suggested that you use bottled distilled water.

This machine does what it says it will. I did research before purchasing and in this price range, it’s the best. I found the steam button takes awhile to get used to (it can leave the floor pretty wet) but when I was done with my bamboo floors, they looked much nicer than the spray and mop hardwood cleaner that I have been using. And it’s less trouble than using the spray bottle over the entire 524 square feet of flooring! The pad went through the washer in good shape and I air dried it as recommended.

We have had the Penguin humidifier for about a year and a half now. I had placed an order for one and a month later it hadn’t shipped so I canceled my order and got one in the store. I really love it. Its adorable in my daughter’s room and works really well. It has a turn knob so you can adjust the output very easily. I think on high it puts off a little too much because it was empty and the carpet was damp in the morning. It is easy to fill and clean, doesn’t use a filter and holds enough water for a night or two. My girlfriend has the elephant or frog I can’t remember which and is also really happy with it. She has had it for three years I believe. Go for it, they are adorable and if you don’t like it you can always return it!

I purchased one of these fellas today after having just returned my Dyson. Yes, that’s right, I RETURNED MY DYSON! To be honest, I am still scratching my head as to why so many people throw praise at the Dyson. I had one of their “Animal” vacuums for one day, and although it was a nice product… really, is it worth almost $500? I mean, I am talking about a LOT of money here, so why should you spend that much money on a vacuum cleaner?
The simple answer is that you don’t have to. The Dyson Animal picked up just a small amount of debris from my fully-carpeted apartment when I tried it out. The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser was almost half-full after I used it earlier today, only 12 hours after having using the Dyson.
I’m not sure what to make of this, to be honest. The Bissell (which costs about 1/3 the price of the Dyson) seems to do the job much better. Although the unit is quite bulky, and requires some assembly (the instructions were a joke), I have much cleaner floors as a result. And my biggest peeve about the Dyson was that, after paying all that money for a product that was called “The Animal,” I still had to pay an extra $69 for the pet hair attachment! Is it me, or is someone trying to rip me off here? (Edit: I have been told that one of the Dyson Animal vacuums comes equipped with the aforementioned attachment).
